F.A.Q. |

Mounting - Ensure that F2 is mounted exactly in the driving direction - preferrably centered on the roof rack. Use a measuring tape for fine control. Ensure that your car's tailgate can be opened without hitting the box.
Loading - Heavy loads shall be loaded so that the weight is distributed on load brackets, or, in the middle of the box. Distribute the load equally and use suspension straps to fix the load. Even though rain, snow and dirt can not come into the box you should pay attention condensation water and melting water from your skis. Hence, clothing and other sensible load should be e.g. packed in bags or covered otherwise. Pay attention to the risk of freezing in temperqatures below 0· C.
Driving - Your car is heavier and higher when a roox box is mounted. As your car's center of gravity is changed pay attention to changed driving manoeuvrability. Pay attention to potential sensitivity to side winds, longer stopping distance, and changes in fuel economy.
Maintenance - Wash and polish your F2 the same way as your car. Use soft brush. Avoid high-pressure wash.
Storage - Preserve the transport package your F2 is delivered in and use it for box storage whenever the box is not in use. Storage on the box-lift, mounted on the wall or in the ceiling, will free up space on the floor. |
